Our Review

Caravaneer is a complex trading simulation set in a post-apocalyptic world. You'll have to buy animals & carts to form a caravan to trade goods around the desert, while hiring mercs & equipping them to fight off bandits on the way. You'll have to buy camels & horses to draw carts initially (later buying quads and jeeps, though fuel can be a pain), making sure to bring enough water, food and forage to make the trip to the next town. You then set off, fighting off a few packs of raiders and the like in turn-based battles on the way to the next town where you can make some money with your trade goods. Ignore the functional graphics and get past the initially overwhelming complexity and you will be hooked.
If you are lost make sure to read the tutorial and have a look through this helpful guide.

Our Rating: 3.5 / 5

In this game you have a caravan and need to transport goods between towns. You need to take care of economical and tactical issues and your caravan maintenance. You need to fight robbers and solve quests. You can buy transport, hire new members and buy equipment. There are over 70 different characters and over 80 items. The game is big and you need a lot of time to finish it.

Thanks for playing! Now check out Guild of Dungeoneering, a game I'm making where you build the dungeon instead of controlling the hero! \o/
